According to the customs legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, passenger baggage is processed as follows:
- when entering the Republic of Uzbekistan - baggage is checked in only to the first border crossing point of the Republic of Uzbekistan (regardless of the availability of an air ticket for further domestic transportation);
- when departing from the Republic of Uzbekistan with connecting air tickets on domestic flights onward to international flights - there is also no possibility of checking baggage to the final destination from first embarkation point.
In both cases, passengers need to re-check in their checked baggage.
